We toured with Surjit Singhji... read more for 11 days in Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan. We made a family trip after several years and were skeptical about our car journey. The risk of not knowing the quality of the driver and the car could ruin the experience our teenage children would get in their first India trip. However, from the very beginning of the trip we found our driver, Surjit Singhji, who is also the owner of the car, to be an amazing person and very soon we were worry-free about our trip. We found him to be a very safe driver, always courteous and punctual. He would message us every morning that he was ready to pick us up. The car was always kept clean and stocked with bottled drinking water. With his two decades of experience driving in this area, he seemed to know all the routes and never had to rely on any maps. He also was very knowledgeable about the restaurants en route to stop for good food and those that offered clean restrooms. While driving us he would show us interesting landmarks and share with us great details about some places in every city, which my kids enjoyed as they were visiting North India for the first time. He suggested places which we should target first during a day given the holiday season and the crowds which allowed us to visit all the places we had planned in an efficient manner. In some older parts of the city where cars were not allowed he arranged for rickshaw rides for us that saved us the trouble of finding good trustworthy rickshaw drivers. He also knows a lot of local places in each city we visited, that offered hand-made artifacts and workshops. We are glad we took his suggestion and visited those shops. We found and bought some quality products and not the run-of-the-mill ones usually seen in touristic places. There was no pressure to purchase anything, which we greatly appreciated. Our entire trip was very comfortable and are extremely happy with his services. Surjit ji gave us very helpful tips and was always concerned about our safety and that we have a great experience. He was always open to any changes we would make and was very accommodating. We will certainly book more tours with him in the future and highly recommend his tour company.
