Overview
Kedarnath Badrinath Yatra is a popular pilgrimage circuit in Uttarakhand, India. It is a spiritual journey that takes you to two of the most revered Hindu shrines – Kedarnath and Badrinath. The pilgrimage is believed to cleanse the soul and bring blessings and good fortune to the devotees. There are several Kedarnath Badrinath Yatra packages available, ranging from 5 to 10 days, depending on the duration and amenities included. The packages generally cover transportation, accommodation, meals, and the services of a guide or tour operator.
The pilgrimage begins with a visit to Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is located at an altitude of 11,755 feet and can be reached by a trek of approximately 16 km from Gaurikund. The trek is considered challenging, but the scenic beauty of the Himalayas makes it worth the effort.
After visiting Kedarnath, the pilgrimage continues to Badrinath, one of the four Char Dham sites, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple is located at an altitude of 10,279 feet and can be reached by road. Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi– Haridwar (215 kms/6hrs)
Welcome to New Delhi. You are greeted and assisted on arrival at Delhi Airport /Railway station by our representative and drive to Haridwar. In the evening proceed to perform ritualistic bathing on the banks of pious river Ganges and join the enchanting evening Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri, if time permits one can visit Manasa Devi temple.
Day 02: Haridwar – Devprayag – Rudraprayag – Sitapur (230 kms/10 hrs)
Morning drive to Guptkashi or sitapur via Devprayag & Rudraprayag. En-route see the confluence in Devprayag and Rudraprayag. Later drive straight to Sitapur for a night stay.
Day 03: Sitapur – Kedarnath – Sitapur (19 kms Trek)
Early morning drop to Sonprayag (for trek route) trek starts from here to Kedarnath. Start to ascend on a trek route either by walk or pony/doli (at own cost). Helicopter service is also available for Kedarnath, so one can take a helicopter to Kedarnath(at own cost). Tour members should carry personal medicines, heavy woolen and clothes. After performing Pooja & Darshan of Shri Kedarnath ji return to Sitapur/Phata. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 04: Sitapur – Badrinath (230 kms / 9 Hrs)
Morning After breakfast transfer to Badrinath, en-route visit Karanprayag, Nandprayag, Vishnu Prayag, & Joshimath (Narshimha Temple) on arrival check in at hotel, in the evening visit Badrinath temple, overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Badrinath – Pipalkoti (80kms/4 hrs)
Morning visit temple after a holy dip in Tapt Kund. Proceed through the colorful entrance of the temple to the Darshan of Badrivishal along with Ganesh, Kubera, Garuda, Narada, Udhhav, Nar & Narayan. Also see another small temples inside the temple compound i.e. Laxmimata, Nar-Narayana, Hanuman, Ghantakarna and Kaamdhenu. One can get ‘Charnamirt’(abhishekamjal) inside the compound. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddam Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus), one can perform rites here.
Later a visit of Mana Village (India’s last village towards Indo-Tibetan border), which includes Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Bhim Pul, Saraswati river etc., In the evening transfer to Pipalkoti, Overnight stay at Pipalkoti.
Day 06: Pipalkoti – Rishikesh -Haridwar (240 kms/8 hrs)
Morning drive back to Haridwar. En-route see the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda in Devprayag. Arrival at Rishikesh & proceed for Sightseeing which covers the magnificent ashrams and famous Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, Shivanand Ashram, Gita Bhavan, Pramarth Niketan, Later drive to Haridwar. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Haridwar – Delhi (215 Kms/ 6 Hrs)
Morning departing to Delhi. Here tour ends with happy memories as you drop to the Delhi Airport /Railway station for journey to onward destination.
