Overview
The Palace on Wheels is one of a kind. The luxury tourist train was launched by the Indian Railways in association with Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation with the motive to promote tourism in Rajasthan. The train is renamed Heritage Palace on Wheels.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: New Delhi Depart
Report at Safdarjung Railway Station for a traditional welcome and check-in formalities for the ‘Week in Wonderland’ train tour. The train departs & dinner is served onboard.
Day 2: Jaipur, The Pink City
Breakfast was served later a warm welcome at Jaipur Railway Station. Then proceed to visit the St. Albert Museum, Pink City Palace & UNESCO World Heritage Site of Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal also known as Palace Of winds, Amber fort. Enjoy an elephant ride. depart for the next destination. Enjoy the dinner served
Day 3: Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve
After an early morning in a forest lodge, proceed to jungle safari, the jungle is home to Tigers, Panthers, Sloth bears, Pythons, Marsh crocodiles, hundreds of Deer, and numerous birds. Truly a delight for wildlife lovers.
Return back to Sawai Madhopur Railway Have Lunch onboard.
Day 4: Chittorgarh Hill Fort
On day 4, The Palace on Wheels train reaches the famous Chittorgarh Railway Station. Chittorgarh fort is the largest fort in India and also a UNESCO World Heritage sight.
Day 5: Udaipur, the City of Lakes
after arrival and post breakfast proceed to visit the 17th Century built – City Palace complex with eleven constituent Mahals, balconies, towers, and cupolas. Also, visit Crystal Gallery
Later, enjoy a boat ride around the world-famous “Lake Palace Hotel” a small island in the middle of Lake Pichola. And enjoy the lunch, shop for yourself and your friend n family from the local market
Day 6 : Jaisalmer
Post breakfast visit Patwon ki Haveli, one of the largest and most elaborate mansion houses -which is five stories high & extensively carved. Then visit Jain Temples. The beautifully carved architecture will steal your heart. And you can spend time exploring the library hosting some of the oldest manuscripts of India. Finally, return to the train.
Day 7: Jodhpur, the Heart of Marwar
In Jodhpur after breakfast proceeds sightseeing at Mehrangarh Fort, atop a rocky hill. Inside the fort, the complex is an impressive museum that hosts a remarkable assortment of Royal dresses & medieval weapons. Later visit the museum at Umaid Bhawan Palace, displaying personal artifacts of Maharaja of Jodhpur. Then have your lunch and return to the train to enjoy your dinner onboard
Day 8:Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Arrival proceed to the Site of Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary to view many of 375 species of both local & migratory birds, Return to the train for breakfast & depart to reach Agra
Day 9: Agra, City of the Taj Mahal
The train drops you at the Railway station in the morning. The first stop of the sightseeing tour is a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Agra Fort, which is also one of the seven wonders of the modern world. The flawless architectural wonder is built in white marble with a very touching love story dedicated to this monument. Later you can explore the local market shop for yourself friends and family Then return to the train for onboard dinner & depart.
Day 10: New Delhi Return
Finally, The Palace on Wheels train will end its journey and drop you at Delhi’s Safdarjung Railway Station.
